• Disinfecting nets - To make 1% solution add 100g of Hydra Chloramine-T to a 10 litre bucket, change solution after 24 hours, As the net is removed from the solution, shake off excess drops before putting into a tank to net fish. For delicate fish it may be preferable to rinse the net in a separate container of fresh water before using it to net fish.

Disinfecting of Nets

Every tank, raceway or holding facility on a fish farm or aquatics centre should have its own nets. Nets can be soaked in a 1% solution of Hydra Chloramine T continuously.

Similarly for anglers equipment should be disinfected on arrival and departure from a fishery to prevent the risk of transfer of diseases.
