Montmorillonite clay creates the perfect environment for your fish by providing essential minerals and trace elements required to greatly enhance the colour of your Koi and gold fish in your pond.

Most ponds have no natural source of minerals; they are made from rubber liners, butyl, PVC, polypropylene, polyurethane, EPDM and fibreglass. What little minerals and trace elements in the water are quickly absorbed by the fish, plants and even the bacteria that colonise the filters.

Hydra Enhance’s nano-particles react with toxins, heavy metals, free radicals and pesticides in water, soaking them up like a sponge and allowing them to become heavier and fall to the pond bottom where they are removed by mechanical filtration.

Not normally found in water from your local supply, these essential minerals and trace elements are found in the natural clay ponds in the Koi breeding area of Nigata in Japan where many of the highest quality Koi in the world come from.

Usage Rates:

• First two weeks use 15g (1 level table spoon) to every 4,000 litres of pond water and apply every other day.
• After 2 weeks use 15g (1 level table spoon) to every 4,000 litres of pond water and apply once or twice per week.

How to Apply:

Hydra Enhance can be added directly to the pond water or mixed with your fish’s food.

1. To the pond

• Place measured amount into a bucket of pond water and mix into milky emulsion.
• Add slowly all around the pond. Ensure any powder left in the bottom of the bucket is added.
• Pond will go a milky colour which will clear on average in 6-24 hours.
• Use weekly all year round.

2. To Koi food

• Moisten the food pellets and put them into a plastic bag with Hydra enhance
• Shake the bag so the pellets are evenly covered with the clay
• Spread them out on a aluminium foil tray and leave to dry for use later

Within 2-3 weeks you will see can improvement in your water as well as the skin quality of your Koi and Goldfish. The colours will be more vivid and the white background brighter. Your fish will show increased appetite and vigour. You will notice the difference in your water, your fish and your pond.
