The problem:

Silt is a fairly unavoidable waste product found in ponds. It is the build up of waste organic matter that has broken down and sunk to the bottom of your pond. Silt is typically a build up of uneaten fish food, dead plant matter, fallen leaves etc. Having a good filter system, nets over your pond to trap leaves and removing blanket weed fro the surface will all help but if you don't fancy vacuuming out the bottom of your pond the aerobic bacteria in Hydra Silt-less All-in-One will decrease silt-levels by stimulating micro-organisms to break down the waste organic matter.
